Spaletti seems like he's trying to build a system and doesn't care that it's the Euros. Like he'd rather lose if it helps his squad to learn how he wants them to play.

Yeah Spalletti doesn't know how to play anything but one specific 4-3-3 playstyle. He stuck to it during Spain match but this Italy team doesn't really fit that. Got schooled, tried changing it for this match but it didn't work either.

It's weird because IIRC the last few friendlies before Euros they played like 3-4-2-1 and did well. not sure why he changed back to 4-3-3.
