Reddit is a ghost town now.
— Reddit Lies (@reddit_lies) June 24, 2024
The largest subreddit (r/funny) has 60 million members but had only 44 posts in the past 24 hours.
r/Apple, 5 million, only had 9 posts over 24 hours.
TBH I donβt think Reddit survives past the 2024 election after the bots turn off. https://t.co/fRNIRnhAuD pic.twitter.com/6L9YhrGHPK

Reddit can only hemorrhage users. All the main subs are so locked down you cant actually join in on anything without spending a week farming karma.
Imagine wanting to post a picture, meme, or really anything on a sub after finding it that day. Not only do you get it removed sometimes it automatically shadowbans you

Nah, the best part is that you won't find it removed because the default censorship tactics will give you no indication that you're being censored. You'll be shouting into a void without realizing it. And of course you'll leave eventually.

Exactly, yeah. I remember making a new account in GOOD FAITH and posting an image OP to a hobby sub and seeing it got no interaction in over a day. I'd broken some byzantine rule and been shadowbanned without notice
Even the king cobra sub (RIP) had literally secret requirements to post and if you didnt meet them the post was removed
