I could never figure out what this guy's appeal was. The mullet, that awful porno mustache, the stupid glasses, it's all just terrible. I worked with some late 20s, early 30s guys though that watched this clown religiously and were legit all worked up about him getting banned or whatever.

The closest I ever got to watching other people play video games was this dude that used to dominate the MK2 cabinet at my local arcade back in 1993. I still don't know how he found out every fatality and every special move for every character and knew every fricking secret in the game.

He probably hacked it. MK2 arcades were notorious for cheating against the player by reading input so players would spend more coins. You had to cheese it with certain characters and move repetitions if you wanted to win.

I doubt it, he didn't have access to the internals and it was almost exclusively PvP. Although I did see him beat the arcade ladder on a single credit easily.
