Trumpcels take any sign of agency in the world as proof of a grand conspiracy. Usually, they lash out as the world hilariously rejects them. But this time, they're baffled by the world handing them a win--it seems too easy, too clean. Deeply scarred by their losses post-2016, they're unable to accept the possibility of victory. Everything that happens--even something good--must be another step in the universe's favorite game of "kick the neurodivergent" 
This is a surprisingly consistent (if sad) worldview. 
They set up all these boring butt stupid rules to help biden, didn't work. They threatened everyone restreaming the debate legally, didn't work. Even cucked youtube didn't comply with them. You know the left is gonna be mad at them over this going forward. Nobody watches them already, lol. I love it. It's not like they won over conservatives or anything to watch them after this.

I agree. The debates are never this early. Biden can be replaced at the convention. The debates never start before that.

The synchronized turn on Biden last night was a sight to behold. When Dem operatives coordinate, they can pull off some crazy shit (remember when everyone dropped out in like 2 days in 2020 to give fifth-place Biden a straight shot to the nomination?). However, their reaction seems to come from honestly realizing that they can't hide him from the voters for four more months. His 2020 debates went fine and he sounded good at SOTU, and this performance was much worse than anyone expected.

I do think it's interesting that Biden even agreed to the debate. It seems like everyone involved should have seen this coming. Maybe it was a complete surprise but i doubt it.
Now the NYT has the knives out and is coming hard at Biden.

The Biden campaign offered this June debate proposal to Trump's team thinking (a) he won't accept it and (b) if he did, he'll probably be in court so he won't be able to make it. Trump accepted it right away and the only trial that's gotten any traction in terms of taking him off the campaign trial was the NY hush money case, which is over.
If you remember nothing else, remember this: the Democrat Party is extremely stupid and arrogant and never thinks that what they do will eventually come back and bite them in the butt.

I think he actually is hitting some kind of sudden decline. People said he was senile in 2020 and then he always handled debates and speeches just fine.
I think staffers just wanted to keep him lucid enough to beat Drumpfler for a few more months, but he's changing rapidly enough that it's not possible to manage him consistently anymore.
