Latinx really hurts y'all huh? It's just a word. All languages eventually evolve. Don't like it? Don't use it. It'll either die out or you will.

"Latinx" it's literally just gringo colonization. Trying to force their unpronounceable words apart from our already evolving and developing language. It is not even about being a word that is created to satisfy a need, for years the acceptance of neutral pronouns and suffixes has been discussed within which there is a better and more pronounceable alternative such as "Latine". But gringos are fricking buttholes who want to be the center of everything and colonize the continent their operation condor didn't give them.

Are there people who seriously use Latinx? I have never met any and I live in California.

I think it shows a level of insecurity there. It's just a phrase used in very particular contexts, but the reactions against it are indicative of machismo.

Just use the gender neutral word Latin lmao, absolutely no reason to make up a word such as Latinx
