I watched Death Note nearly a month ago, the ending seemed quite rushed. Other than that, it was fine. Any suggestions?

I have heard from a friend that the third season is improved compared to the second, but I haven't watched it myself.

If you are interested in more psychological thrillers I'd reccomend Kaiji, Akagi and One outs, basically any of Fukumoto's or Shinobu Kaitani's works. Monster by Naoki Urasawa is pretty great too

I read Part 3 without really understanding it either. The translation I read had some basic stuff at the end of each chapter, but I got the gist of it after a while. It's less about the actual rules of the game and more about the psychology, anyway.

Honestly the version of mahjong they play is so simplified that it becomes really simple to understand. The only complicated part is remembering the names of all the different terms

Yeah, I'm specifically having troubles with memorizing the kanji and the terminology, tf is a mangan

So In mahjong, if your hand is worth a certain amount of points it gets a title

Mangan = 8000 points

Haneman = 12000 points

Baiman = 16000

Sanbaiman = 24000

Yakuman = 32000 or more

In the game they dont keep points in between rounds so its truly to tell how much the loser has to pay out
