Having done both of these, depends on the type. A single mom who was married to a rich guy basically guarantees you're doing fun shit for free all the time. A single mom who was married to a poor guy ends in you effectively fronting the ex's missed child support payments. The rich one wants you around for a few months of fun, the poor one hopes you'll be the one to save her.
