There seem to be a lot of sentiments being expressed along the lines of "why are they cancelling us?? don't they know from experience that cancelling random poor people is bad? why can't we just enter a detente now??"

How exactly are we supposed to go from 2014-2024 leftoids cancelling poor rightoids to 2024-beyond rightoids righteously decline to cancel poor leftoids? Do they genuinely expect chuds to just... not use this tactic out of some sense of fairness, and whip up some new social norm that says cancelling bad overnight?

I feel like the above is skipping a step.

Anyways, within 2 weeks we'll be back to blue wingcucks cancelling red wingcucks and denying that any of this discourse ever happened so this is largely a moot point.
