The Foid disease is caused by estrogen
I don't know if this is helpful but I am transfem and went the other way. I definitely noticed a significant jump in symptoms since starting Estrogen, especially ones to do with blood pressure and temperature regulation. I don't know if that means things will improve for you on T necessarily, but I would say you're at a lower risk of worsening and might even see some reduction in symptoms if you're lucky.
And Cured with Testosterone
I had a huge increase in energy and decrease in pain from T, literally by the day after my first dose. One of the few things I've found that does anything.
I know someone who was unemployed for 10 years (homebound not bedbound), started T (usual transition dose), and is now working part time and rock climbing and owns a high-energy dog.
Based on my experience, T might make you feel better
I've been on low dose T for 6 months. Overall it's felt like it's helped my symptoms
when i was on t my symptoms weren't as bad and i was not sure at that time if anything was even wrong with me- but when i stopped, i noticed a difference for sure. energy tanked, had more frequent pain and anxiety, etc. it may just be because i was not as sick then, but i remember feeling much better when i was on t
I went off T for a few months before I got sick and felt extremely low energy for those few months until I restarted. I think this might just be the effects of going off T independent of ME/CFS. I also gained some energy when I first started
