Lots of insects and plants outnumber us. And unlike insects, were much more fragile in terms of environmental conditions that can kill us. Cockroaches can survive nuclear fallout, humans cant.

There are more than a million species out there more fragile than cockroaches who have also survived so far. I am not worried.

Crocodiles are more fragile than cockroaches too, hundreds of millions of years and multiple mass extinction events, and they are still here. Same for Sharks.

Funny that you mentioned crocodiles, as many of them are now endangered. The difference between now and millions of years prior is human technology.

Its not some leftist conspiracy to say that humans can radically ruin the environment. Even if you dont believe in climate change, nuclear war is another very real possibility with an N of 1 already.
