They never seem to answer this question. What are they actually campaigning for? Making right wingers magically like them is not a realistic goal.

I've asked this before. The silence is deafening. They are not missing any rights in western developed countries they shouldn't have. Every bit of it is just performative bullshit to get people talking about their "plight"

It's a leftover from the Gay Rights movement pre-legalising gay marriage. They got equal rights, plus being a protected class. But they'd built an entire charity/NGO infrastructure around fighting for that, and rather than say, 'Job's done, let's pack up,' they tried to keep the money coming in by acting like trans rights was also a big issue and exactly the same as demanding gay rights.
So they're just reusing slogans and behaviours because they've been shown to be effective before. And it's been working, at least for a while, but they're beginning to struggle to just shout down anyone who starts to ask questions.
It's always been a sticking point, that if you argued with gay rights activists they could actually disagree with you by citing evidence and points of view, while TRAs only have appeals to emotion, suicide-baiting, and unhinged rage. All they have is, 'Give me what I want at all times or you're a bigot.'

yeah this is a big part of it, but with the medical industry involved now...lots of money to be made...
L and G got sympathy and the T came along trying to use it to their advantage...but that ship is sinking and taking the L and G with it sadly...
