/r/ADHD is basically a subreddit for meth-heads who get defensive about their amphetamine abuse because some third-world-origin doctor wrote it on a prescription pad. Genuinely unhinged

(Yes I am here to seethe about a reddit sub)

Every second post in /r/ADHD is about stimulant medication, trying to score it (ie how to trick a doctor into writing a script), running out of their script (ie being strung out on meth), med shortages (ie your dealer isn't answering their phone), or being defensive when people point out that stimulant treatment is essentially codified meth use.

You don't have e to scroll to find ten posts about people who take their first adderall script and remark "this is how normal people experience the world" (it isn't, most people aren't on stimulants and also sometimes struggle to focus) of imagined conversations with people who judge them for taking stimulants every single and how it's somehow different from being an actual meth head.

I genuinely struggle to understand how the huge explosion in adults with ADHD taking adderall and vyvanse isn't suspect to them. It's so bad that companiee literally regularly run out of the drugs but that's not a cause for concern. I refuse to believe that 1 in 5 adults' natural state of being is "need literal amphetamine to function". The medical system is broken

That's the thing about stimulants. There's no "sometimes", you either use them to make yourself perfect and take them every single day of your life, or you don't use them at all. There's no inbetween. You take it and you become a better human.

That's a good start. You'll only be able to stop being a total loser once you switch to a life of stimulants.

It's not even a bad thing like alcohol or cigs. You can quit at anytime and you still have all the gains. As long as you have a strong heart.

These drug shortages are caused by r-slurred government mandated limits on production on a per company basis. Frick the DEA. I cheer whenever a DEA agent gets shot up in some shitty cop show.

No it's caused by fat r-slurs who don't think their shitty diet has anything to do with why they can't focus at work after lunch

When I get downmarseyd I'll just make an edit usually asking why I've been downmarseyd so I can expose people for the cowards they are. I challenge them to prove what I said was wrong, this usually either gets me more downmarseys or sometimes people will start upvoting me again because they know they have no argument. Being downmarseyd shouldn't bother me, but it does because I try and be as respectful towards everyone as I can here and have genuine thoughtful comments. And to see that ultimately go unappreciated makes me feel like my comment was worthless whenever I really made the effort to make it sound good, especially my longer comments on topics I'm interested in.
