When you zoom out from 1x, it switches to the wide-angle automatically.

Try this: Open your camera, put your finger over the lens, completely obscuring your view. Now zoom out.

It's... pretty straightforward what I said.

When you open the camera, it's at 1.0x zoom and uses the normal-angle lens.

If you zoom out, your camera will automatically switch to the wide-angle lens next to the normal lens.

You can obscure the normal lens with your finger to see the switch.
