Not really. The price point is the same, and you're expected to tip if you use Uber and Lyft. Your ability to actually get a car depends on the whims of these scamming parasite drivers. When it first came out, I always used Uber/Lyft for rides to and from the airport. Now I don't even bother.

Super Shuttle is the best way to get to and from the airport.
Actual professional driver right to your door, works for a real company, big ol van thing for you, they know right where to drop you and when, they even load and unload your bags

unfortunately they decided to do this after growning to 10,000s of engineers to manage a basic order processing business... such that it takes million of $s of expensive engineering, EMs, PMs, and design to do something i'm sure @Aevann could do in an afternoon, literally
