I do not exercise, like at all, but I would like to start incorporating more movement into my schedule⦠however, I'm not a fan of doing exercise that I don't enjoy. The only thing that I think I might enjoy is self defence training or kickboxing. I really wish I could find a plus size 1:1 coach for this, but I haven't had any luck so far⦠any tips on how to change my mindset around this? I just want someone who understands what it's like to be my size, and I don't want to feel judged or be pushed past what I'm comfortable doing. I used to have a personal trainer (when I worked out often and was in a smaller body), and she had me doing box jumps, I told her the box was too high for me, and she told me that I could do it, and I physically could not. Like I was embarrassed to say that I didn't think I could do it, then she makes me try it and I fall. It was just not a good experience, and I want someone who trusts that I know when to push myself.
