I've never used a non apple phone, but it's not really all that different from other premium phone brands right? I only really use it because it's what I've always used.
Macbooks are just better
. Use a new 1300$ thinkpad for my work and its slower than my 2021 14" base cpu m1 by several times and a significantly worse experience in every way (screen, battery, touchpad, keyboard, look and feel, speakers). Which is a more expensive computer(around 1700 when i got it), but the difference is staggering.

By thinkpad I mean an $100 oldshit. Reason for iPhone over other stuff is iOS, it just works, never had a problem with it. Though I enjoy tinkering with software at times, trying to mess with my phone is not one.
