I think a Trump victory is likely, but definitely not a sure thing. It's not my place to say how others should respond, but I know what I'll do. I'll wake up on the 6th, walk my dog, have breakfast with my partner, hit the gym, go to work, and probably call my mom. Meaning, it won't change much for me. I'll continue to focus on my own small circle of influence, do my best, and keep it moving. (60)

Pretty much same-zies My life didn't change much under his first term. Doubt all the fear mongering this time will lead to much more than that... followed by more of that and so on. I focus on what matters, family, friends and work. Politics is literally the last thing I think of during the day. Everyone else thinking that it's going to be WW2 style Germany is fricking delusional and needs to step away from a computer and just enjoy life. (-1)

Why do you think that? I'm voting for him and I think it's VERY unlikely that he wins, I bet on Harris pretty heavily and think she wins in a landslide. (-4)

Trump is going to lose, contest the loss, claim the Democrats cheated with zero evidence, force a contingency election in the House where the GOP majority will falsely declare Trump the winner, and the corrupt SCOTUS will certify him as President. This is why the SCOTUS and House were stocked with Trump loyalists. This has been a slow, steady corruption of the entire U.S. government by a corrupt Republican party. (25)

As president he was allowed to nominate SCOTUS and in the House, those were ELECTED by the people. Not like they were installed. For example Harris was installed as nominee without any delegate win in primary. DNC forced Biden to not run, while saying he is still of sound mind. We all saw the debate, he isn't there anymore. Just to play devil's advocate here, it kind of does reflect on him. Similar to when Democratic presidents ignore Republican issues because it's not aligned with her party values, Republican presidents are going under Democratic issues when it doesn't line with them and they're going to let it you know blow up. If you guys think Democratic presidents, ignoring immigration causes the crime and job stealing that you say it does, why wouldn't a Republican president ignoring injustices happening in a Democratic states not also reflect on them? That being said, would you blame Republican cities for having higher violent crime statistically? I obviously disagree with you, but for the sake of this argument I'm pretending I don't. You have to stay at least consistent (1)

Fair question, but I think the answer is pretty straightforward. The upshot is that Repubs tend to be law and order when it comes to violent street crime. For that reason, I don't believe that we can blame local Repub officials when it occursโ€”Repubs are less willing to tolerate violent street crime and are also unfriendly toward the habits and customs that surround violent crime. As far as "injustices" that supposedly cause crime, that begs the question. Repubs don't tend to share this view, and it is at least debatable. (Repubs would just respond that the violent crime itself causes injustice to victims and law abiding citizens.) In other words, that whole debate would not advance either side's argument.Dems allowing mass immigration, by contrast, does ultimately cause crime by illegal immigrants to occur in the U.S. Even if their crime rate is supposedly lower than that of native-born Americans, it still occurs, and one such crime is too many. (And this rate does not even reflect a... (1)

The Durham report, read about it.You sound like your rattling of themes to a spy movie. "People dying after meeting".You're literally insane. How can you not see you're just as radical as a Qanon crazy???What did you think this master plan was? Trump, who you probably think is mentally r-slurred I'm sure, hatched a brilliant plan well before 2016 to team up with Putin, and steal the election. And then got away with it??? Trump, who had never been in politics. It sounds like you never accepted the results of the 2016 election, kinda like an election denier. You catching onto the similarities between you and the radical right here? (0)

Except multiple counties basically said if Trump got access to their secret data, they would stop sharing it with America. How do you not see the security threat the man poses? I'm not trying to be conspiracy minded; but when the leader of a nation has a secret meeting with the leader of a hostile foreign nation, and then suddenly security assets all over the world start dying from a poison known to be used by that same hostile foreign nation, you'd have to have your fricking head buried in the sand to not start asking questions. What was Trump's plan? To do exactly what he did. Sell out America's secrets to its enemies for profit! Why do you think China have his daughter hundreds of millions of dollars in patents weeks after he father got elected? Patents by the way, that normally take years to process. Done in a few months...Or why did his son in law get paid 2 billion dollars by Saudi Arabia (the country that literally funded the 9/11 attacks btw), for brokering an arms deal? Why ... (1)

I think it could go either way. I will probably take comfort in my personal life and interests. But I have a young son, and I often think about what Trump getting re-elected would tell him about the world. A man caught on tape bragging about how he sexually assaults people and gets away with it because he's famous, was elected by nearly half the country. And then, after he led a putsch to overthrow the results of an election he lost, which injured 170 police officers and killed one, was proven in a court of law as a fraud and a criminal, and was called out by his own handpicked advisors as a "fascist"โ€”nearly half the country elected him again. I used to think I lived in a country where this couldn't happen, where certain lines couldn't be crossed. I worry a lot about what further lines will be crossed if Trump and his supporters escape the consequences. And I worry a lot about what lessons my son will learn from this as he grows up. (37)

Unless someone was deeply impressed with Trump's r-slur antics for 8 years, and then bore witness to Biden's shrunken brain and the wholesome chungus r-sluration of Kamala's word salads, and cannot discriminate against an r-slur when he sees one.

Grue stop being ESL. 'Partners in crime' is an entirely different term than referring to the person you're seeing as your 'partner' and obviously adds different context and meaning. We're discussing the term 'partner', not the word 'partner', so saying you can refer to someone as 'my partner in crime' instead of 'my partner' is the same as telling me I could call someone a human instead of a dog. Like, no thanks, I meant what I said.
