It's kind of like Charles Manson looking at someone and saying "Whoa, that dude is crazy!"It's not about accepting his support but more-so agreeing in how extreme you must be for Manson to think you're nuts. (195)

There will be time to argue about marginal tax rates and the proper size of government when we've confirmed that the fundamental structures (i.e. free and fair elections honored by both sides, respect for the process of orderly government, treating people with kindness and respect...even those you disagree with) are still in place. That's just the point. Don't you think if insane Manson thinks something is crazy, it might be normal? (-25)

Lets use it in a different way then:Lets say that for many years Chef 2 (no cilantro) and Chef 1 (some cilantro in all his dishes) have been working at the same restaurant. Cilantro lovers, ask for chef 1's dishes and cilantro haters ask for chef 2's dishes and both amass a big following due to how good their dishes are, of course some preferring chef 1 and other preferring chef 2. The cilantro haters cant fathom how Chef 1's fans can have his food if it has cilantro and vice versa but they respect each other because they both love the restaurant and everyone in the family/group can find something to eat. Then comes chef 3 who after decades of it just being 2 chefs its now 3, lets say he has little to no experience in being a chef but he has been a "successful business man and celebrity from a reality show" and the restaurant thinks it could be good for business . He starts cooking with just cilantro, he somehow convinces people that cilantro is a miracle cure and attacks chef 2 and... (1)

Because they didnt really hate those republicans for their substance in policies, but instead purely because they were republicans. Theres this common thing about shitlibs is that "Republicans used to be the party of class, back before Reagan/Bush/Trump" and they change whatever party theyre nostalgic about every few years
It's a similar thing with Trump, ask a shitlib why they hate Trump and their answers are basically ethereal: never bringing up his mismanagement of covid, his increase of warmongering and drone strikes compared to Obama or his continuing of the detaining of children using Title 42. Instead it's vagueness about how he's literally a convicted felon and male feminist, which didnt really stop them from voting for criminal elites who shouted down r*pe victims like Anita Hillโฆ twice
Like they constantly bring up that Trump is a fascist who hates democracy, in comparison to who Bush and Cheney are better. Those two literally overturned an election in order to get Americans into an illegal war. Country over party my butt, it's the War Machine over country

Bush the 2000 election fair and square. And subsequent analysis showed Bush would have still won if they had done the Florida statewide recount.

Al Gore should have done what Trump wanted Pence to do. His cowardice in that moment was the start of the downfall of the USA.
