We are a team of researchers who are also active Redditors ourselves, and we want to make sure that the way scientists study communities on Reddit aligns with how users like you either do or don’t experience a sense of community.

I can answer you this and I'm not even a scientist.

Each and every community (read:sub) on reddit is filled to the brim with mentally stunted upper middle-class manchildren who see the world through 'voldemort/harry potter' lens, many of them also firmly believing that enjoying all the luxuries of the modern world is somehow achievable with work abolished entirely.

If you ask them how, the answer is 'just builds robot bro, it's not that hard'.

Also trains, lots of trains, it's their breeding ground right next to groomercord, also there is a thing with 99% of them being economically illiterate and simping for meme ideologies that'd would probably end with them lying in a ditch somewhere, cognitive dissonance is their name of the game.

It's also a sanctuary for pearl clutching womxn (mayo or negro) who live in some fantasy land where there's literal genocide being commited against them but coincidentally with no casualties.
