I mean, it makes total sense that they would be. I just find it interesting anyway. Official government guidelines would have you believe that it's risky to eat cooked chicken or potatoes that's been out of the fridge for more than like 4 hours, but when I was growing up I used to eat all kinds of stuff that had been cooked the previous evening and then left out on the counter all night and I never had any issues.
Not recommending that anyone follow my example, it's just one of those interesting things. People at the government have to somehow decide where to draw the line, like should it be between the point at which like 0.001 of people would get sick and the point at which like 0.002 of people would get sick, or should it be somewhere else?
