'If you do this kids will kill themselves' is more common, but 'If you do this you're killing me/I won't be able to live,' isn't as rare as you might be suggesting.
'It's your fault if people kill themselves due to your actions/words/thoughts,' is abuse, even if they're not often specifically naming themselves as the suicider, when those things aren't violent in nature. Just because
s think misgendering and deadnaming is violence doesn't make it true.
