I was just informed today via text while I was at work that a girl at our NYE party, whom I've only met once before, told the host of the party that I touched her inappropriately.
I don't know what to do. No one believes her thankfully. Every room was really crowded and I was hovering over my friend in the computer room all night while he made music on his PC. We were never alone together at all.
This girl is very young. I don't know if she's gay or straight or what. I've never asked. I had maybe two conversations with her. - one of which was me asking her fricking pronouns because of course she's a Gender Special - She was dressed so scantily that I made it a point to stay away from her entirely other than that.
I'm just really hurt that I was targeted for this, seemingly at random. I don't know how I frick up with women this bad that I randomly get MeToo'd.
Unfortunately she's a relative of one of my good friends so she'll still be around. I've never flirted with her or done anything to indicate interest and she was a minor not too long ago as well. She really shouldn't have even been at the party at all.
Should I talk to her? Supervised of course. I just wanna know why she did this. How do I keep this from happening to me when it's women I don't even talk to or register doing this to me.

Why did you grope that poor girl? Being drunk or carried away by the vibe isn't an excuse. The way she was dressed isn't an excuse. Shouldn't you do the moral thing and apologise instead of devising impossible ways to avoid her? It's better to admit the truth and tear away false self-conceptions rather than hurt an innocent person further. Just think, would your parents approve of your behaviour and the allegations that have sprung from it?
