that's what I mean though, I don't think they really do. I think there has been a top down enforcement ordering everyone to pretend to act like they are, but most normal people go along with it only begrudgingly and almost no one in America actually considers trans women to be women. they either just do it out of politeness or fear. if there's a vibe shift it could easily all crumble
