Make "people I follow posted" alerts notify distinctly from "someone responded to me" alerts

I don't follow anyone because I hate the thought of thinking someone responded to me and then it's just someone I follow posting a thread but if they were separate numbers I wouldn't care and could happily follow lots of people.

It's amazing watching this website slowly gain the functionality of mid 2000s bboard forum code. Legit exciting.

Even at this stage, it's significantly more functional and capable than reddit. I don't know how such a shitty website ever became so widely used.

Reddit has an amazing app. Like from a joe blow UX standpoint, it’s perfect. If we could have the exact same thing but with our features, we would be unstoppable.

I can think of absolutely nothing that would improve it.

Yeah there’s a bunch, people kept recommending them when my old phone was device banned. They were all atrocious.

I've tried Apollo (iOS) and Boost, Sync, Relay (Android) and imo, Boost is clearly the superior 3rd-party client in every way.

Its lack of features is why I'm saying it sucks. I liked the old Reddit UX, but the new Reddit sucks for anything beyond endlessly scrolling cats and absolutely hilarious twitter screenshots of real life bad guys getting MURDERED by words. Which is what the majority of the user base does, so it's understandable.
