I think there exists some sort of cognitive flaw that some people possess that makes them incapable of distinguishing a depiction and accusation. Like, if you depict someone maliciously and cynically faking being a woman for gain, that is somehow an insult against people who, ostensibly, are not doing it for gain nor are they malicious and cynical, merely because they are occasionally accused of such by unrelated third parties. In other words, bad people say people like me do bad things, so a depiction of a bad person doing what they accuse me of means they're accusing me of doing it... despite the depicted person not actually being like me.
Honestly, it's hard to even write down what must be in their heads it makes so little sense.

You're definitely onto something. The way I look at it is that they see people as collectives not individuals. Which nulls and voids everything in your post differentiating bad and good people and people period. So they insinuited that this depiction means they're saying all
s are faking it. Idk I have to simplyfy it just to not get a headache but it still hurts. It reminds me of how there are so many genius black characters or women 'mary sues' in shit now, like remember that Star Wars Rey shit? People can't even show good characters with flaws now because they're scared it's offensive.

But that's exactly the key problem: that's tautological, because Bender isn't a
to begin with. So to conclude that the depiction is meant to reflect on all 
s means accepting that the depiction is accurate to 
s which means you believe, a priori, that 
s are faking it, hence the depiction is accurate... It's a self-fulfilling loop of a thought process, and any normal person's brain would break about halfway through. Normal people would conclude that because Bender is clearly faking it he's not a

s. It takes some serious mental gymnastics to get around all the logical loops of the offended angle.

These are the same people who insist that crossdrsssers who identify as male are actually trans and dont realize it. Many of them are diametrically opposed to "truscum" beliefs (the idea that you are only trans if you have an underlying medical issue causing dysphoria).
