i went to a tiny high school and some girl made some amateur video and posted it on a random site for her e-boyfriend. someone randomly found it, somehow realized it was her and spread it around so the entire school knew and she had to move to online classes. how do people think that stuff is ever going to stay anonymous, especially if you drop your entire exposed face on reddit?

Darn that's brutal, happened at my school too. Principals daughter sent nudes which were then sent to everyone.
We also had a kid whose entire family had to move to another state because he ratted out basically every drug dealer in the area and they legit might have killed him if he stayed.

same here, i do freelance and i don't even work under my real name when i can avoid it but even still i'd like to keep a few layers between this and my real life. i think the worst i'd be at risk for would be social cancelling but at this point all my close friends know i'm an butthole so no big deal realistically
