That's what I was wondering as well, I guess if you hop over to Iceland for a weekend it might be expensive for the time, and the prices in Iceland are pretty high, but still. I'm taking the gf over for a week for our anniversary and it's not looking to be a once-in-a-lifetime mega-decadence expense.

How much is it going to be between the two of you? I remember it being pretty darn expensive when I was looking into going with an ex gf of mine, like 12k I think between the two of us before anything being bought there but I didn't look into it a ton in a "try to save money" type way, was mostly just curious. Pretty expensive for a one week vacation though.
Edit: This made me look up pricing and it seems way cheaper than I thought, not sure wtf I was doing back then lul

I've got some rough numbers, about 700 € for car rental, 600-900 for the flights, maybe 1000 for hotel stays, it's all very feasible - we're going off-season though.
