They were bred for fighting animals, which sounds scary. Except, all dog breeds outside of shit like toy breeds and sheperding breeds come from the express purpose to hunt animals or fight wars, like the Mastiff, but where is the conversation around that breed?

Pit Bulls get the conversation piece because they were favored nanny dogs to watch kids. First by poor white people in the US before being adopted by black and Latinx families for the same. Genome testing shows that these dogs were from an Irish breed as well. Wonder if the English were doing the race science before the KKK and then the neo-Nazi groups started it up.
