There were so many Joe Rogan shitposts in r/SecularTalk that the mods couldn't take it and made a megathread.
One user cannot stand the idea that they can no longer make a separate post for each time they want to dunk on the Secularcels.
Another megathread? Fricking ridiculous to censure conversations like this, about the worlds biggest influencer spreading pure anti science shit that is killing people as we speak. This is an extremely important topic and obviously relevant and important to this community. This isn't "shit-posting". And it doesn't take away the ability for anyone else to make a post about any other subject.

One of the few instances I have seen of moderators being put on the side of "anti-science," and the commenters complaining about it. I usually think its the other way. I have a very weird perception of Reddit though.
