It's not just the incels, I think saying that paints an inaccurate picture of what's really happening. Misogyny is deeply ingrained within our society and within the minds of the majority of men. It's not just some "other" group, very often men that are successful in life and having plenty of s*x are the most misogynistic. We as a people need to be able to recognize first just how bad the problem is instead of trivializing it to an issue only afflicting a certain out group

Yes. Thank you for making this distinction. The truth is that MOST (if not all) men are misogynistic in one way or another. It’s so intimately woven into how both men and women are raised, in every culture in the world, since the beginning of time.

I'm a lurker here and have never posted or responded to a message on this subreddit. I am one of the working class who progressed to the "luxury" lifestyle. I acknowledge my priviledge and am coming to you for advice.

My serious question - what can I (and collective we) do to help?

I have donated to politicians who claim to be for the working class (I'm looking at you The Squad). I've knocked on doors for both Bernie Sanders presidential campaigns. My family members have accused me of helping a racist get into the white house becuase I didn't vote for Clinton. I always vote for the farthest left leaning candidate I can (local and nationwide elections). The system is so fricked up that none of this helps. I'm basically a socialist but I've played the capitalist game.
