The govβt canβt garnish her wages because they never see it. She sets some of it aside for income taxes, but her weekly pay never has deductions for FICA, unemployment etc.
People like this are why palpay is cracking down so hard
I already made this comment to someone else, but sheβs paid via PayPal, which is not a personal bank account. If the money ever leaves her PayPal account it goes to my bank account, which the IRS canβt take from.

If she is paying her taxes appropriately, independent contractors pay 15.3% Self Employment Tax on every dollar of profit, and that is the equivalent of FICA and pays for SS, medicare etc.
