I don't know how people regularly use kratom that shit tastes absolutely disgusting. Why use some ching chong leaf when you can take percs or oxys like a normal person?

I put it in my kidโ€™s smoothies. That way heโ€™s super chill when I have him for the weekend and an butthole on edge during the week when his mom has him.

https://mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/consumer-health/in-depth/kratom/art-20402171

Kratom is believed to act on opioid receptors. At low doses, kratom acts as a stimulant, making users feel more energetic. At higher doses, it reduces pain and may bring on euphoria. At very high doses, it acts as a sedative, making users quiet and perhaps sleepy. Some people who practice Asian traditional medicine consider kratom to be a substitute for opium.

Used to work in a headshop and god darn, so many of them were just switching a heroin/opiod addiction for kratom and still spending the same if not more.

The only one who didnt act like an addict was this ex fire fighter, would come once a week and get some and make it last the week.

Iโ€™ve been using it since before it was widely available in stores. Over a decade. Iโ€™m still addicted to it. Iโ€™ve gone through w/d with extremely strong intravenous opiates and other stuff multiple times and the kratom w/d can be shockingly bad if youโ€™ve been using it for a long butt time.

I was addicted to Kratom for 5 years. I was always good at toss and washing, got to the point where I was taking kratom three times a day, typically 1.5-2 tablespoons at a time. I quit completely and relapsed multiple times before I was finally able to kick it. All I can say is that its easy to quit when you can fill your time with activities, esp. doing things with others. Trying to kick anything while doing nothing is the hardest, as you have nothing distracting you from the cravings. For me I chose to quit because it was affecting my mood and relationships. I was taking it so frequently I was often in a state of semi withdrawal and cranky. If it were not for that I would honestly still use it.

I only use it now rarely. Itโ€™s got too many bad side effects. It was really hard to get to that point though, booze was tough to stop too. The w/d are mostly mental for me, but ya they could be bad.

Yeah Iโ€™ve cut back a lot but I have really bad chronic pain and it actually does help with that. I go work out and come home feeling like Iโ€™ve been hit by a truck. Laying down and taking some kratom helps. I take Lyrica too. If you take Lyrica during opiate withdrawals it makes them almost nonexistent. At least it does for me.

How is delta 8 cbd? I saw some cbd buds they had at a dispensary and they just looked like badly grown weed to me

I'd be wary if they're marketing anything delta-8 as "cbd" since it's actually thc, or at least mostly like thc. Also it barely works for me, but I have friends that swear it works just as well, so I guess it depends.

Less in your head buzz and all the other positive side effects of weed. And I hate weed, havenโ€™t used it in ten years

I know a guy who got horribly addicted to Kratom. I laugh at him a lot. Me and my other friends have been able to do pretty much every drug on the planet recreationally with no negative effects, but this guy can't even handle the weakest shit lmao
