I'm this close to commissioning a practical effects studio for a mask and gloves for my gator sona, but they want 5k and I'll have to fly out for a casting of my face.

a side effect of there being like 3 good shops is that each of them has a functionally infinite waiting list, and even if I wanted to shell out the cash there's no way I a) have the patience for it or b) would put it to enough use to justify jumping in the way of others who want them
