I may get downmarseyd because I think I'm in the minority for this thread, but could anyone help me to see it from their perspective here?






To address points #1 and #2, these kinds of silly "never-have-I-ever" style games are basically the only time people say stuff like this! In my view, it wasn't really inappropriate or stupid for her to say that, it was just honest. It certainly isn't any more or less inappropriate than her friends story, it's just the point of games like these.






In that sense, for her story to have upset OP this much does seem overly insecure to me. Can someone explain why it isn't?

That's a logical fallacy, reductio ad absurdum. Being comfortable with the truth doesn't mean you have to say someone's name every morning, that's just nonsensical, needless conversation. In that context, she has the emotional security to know she's not as physically attractive as "supermodel X". Why would it hurt her? Isn't that the childlike logic?

Even attractive women end up with eating disorders and various other psychoses from feeling they can't meet attractiveness standards set by other foids they see on tv and social media. Just last year we had Billie Ellish complaining about "pretty porn vaginas" making her feel bad.
