I don’t smoke either but after skiing, its customary for my friend group to take edibles, go out to dinner, blast some music, and pass out by 11 to rinse and repeat. So bars are open but breweries are closed?
Quite a few of my friends moved to downtown Denver for work after college so I go there pretty often. You nailed the hiking and drinking part. Skiing is the other main reason people go. The food scene is atrociously bad compared to Austin, being around the same population. Downtown is littered with so fricking many homeless people that its really not worth living in. Most of my friends stayed for 1-2 years and moved back or to other major cities. I’d recommend visiting CO Springs, Summit County, and RMNP still if you’re not into craft beer.
I could be wrong because of the different labels. I remember being in Denver a few years ago where I was at a downtown ‘bar’ but got the house beer which was 14.5% and it wasn’t a bar because it was on the top floor.

They’re closed through Saturday morning due to weather. I tried to go to them but they’re closed for weather.

Ya you’re fricked, there’s not much on the east side of town. Go stare at the horse at the airport and smoke weed til you believe NWO conspiracies?

I’m not a stoner so everything here sucks. I’m probably just going to moonlight bar. It’s not too far out but I also want beer.
