There's a proposal in the Missouri legislature that would shift the burden of proof in self-defense cases to the prosecutor. Basically, instead of those accused of using a firearm to shoot or injure someone having to prove it was in self-defense, the new law would allow them to claim self-defense in any situation where they shoot and kill or injure someone, and then the prosecutor or attorney for the victim would have to prove it wasn't.






In other words, the jagoff in this pic and other dumbasses like that gun-fetishizing lawyer running for Senate could shoot someone in any setting, for any reason, claim they did it in self-defense, and then prosecutors would have to prove otherwise.
