Just last week when Elon Musk was shitposting about the trucker convoy, somebody asked him about the timeline of some new Tesla features and he very honestly said the technology had some serious hurdles to overcome and they had no idea how long it was going to take. I'd link it but that guy tweets like 50 times a day and I don't feel like digging through all that. Suffice to say, self driving trucks are 10 years out minimum and 20 if you want them to actually work correctly.
