What I am seeing here is truckers that are causing harm to economies and people during an already volatile time. I equate this to economic terrorism. They are also blocking peoples freedom of movement. They could be refusing to drive instead of blocking other peoples ability to move freely, but they did not choose that. Those blocking public roads chose to harm their fellow citizens. This directly violates the NAP.

I would rather not see violence, but in this situation I don’t see why a man with a starving family should not walk up to the first trucker in line and ask him to move while armed to the teeth. This man should demand restitution on the spot so that he may feed his family if the trucker refuses to move. If the claim of restitution is not met, taking what is needed to live should be forced. If that means committing violence upon the trucker even leading to death. I believe it is justified, as starvation is proven to lead to death.

Trust the Science

What bothers me most about this is that none of them could mental gymnastics themselves into a possible solution to what they are facing. I made an off hand comment on a different post stating maybe they should make a buddy system and swap loads at the border. By using escrow accounts, and pay per mile this situation could be avoided. But instead they said frick everyone else. So I say frick them. Perhaps I could respect them if they were starving. But they are not.
