In the UK apparently ~50% of new HIV patients are hetero (~17% het men, ~33% het women). The other 50% of new HIV cases are almost all gay men.

But less than 3% of the UK population identify as gay men, so the likelihood of being diagnosed with HIV as a gay man in the UK is at least 30 times higher than for the overall population, and at least 10 times higher than for hetero women.
