The PILs (poo-in-loos) are in an interesting situation. Vodkaland and West Taiwan are moving closer with each other because both oppose US and European interests.

Meanwhile, the PILs hate Chinamen with the fire of a thousand suns and so cooperate with the US and its allies on that front. Meanwhile, they maintain friendly ties with the Ruskies, both historically* and more recently with trade and military development.

I don't think the US will risk its relationship with India, lest it lose a powerful ally against the Chinese.

  • In the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, the US supported Pakistan and deployed a carrier strike group to the Bay of Bengal. Meanwhile the Soviets sided with India and deployed nuclear-armed subs to shadow the US forces.
