I'm starting to feel pulled in multiple directions. The truth is, there's a hard choice ahead of r drama dot net.
At some point, there must be normies, if we are to truly conquer the alienating alien.
But without agreement on that point, and there won't be: there will always be a loud group of people that want this place to stay the same, and for them 'the same' means pretty specifically doing and saying the kind of things people end up leaving to avoid.
Because that's the hard problem. The one that reddit avoided solving because it was so hard.
The same things that make a place grimy make it worth hanging out at, but the grime takes this toll.
