My contacts in the underground suggest the spirit world is in heavy turmoil. I expect another significant wave of Christs Aspiring. If you find a live one I would be interested in conversing with it.

Under certain (often medicated) conditions, the human mind can perform a sorcerous jump leading to a disastrous misconfiguration of the human mind. You know how you understand yourself to be the source of your internal monologue? For some people the wire gets crossed and they believe that their control over their next frame makes them, in some way, God. And they use that power to attempt to author-insert the Messiah trope, which never goes well. (God does not have your back especially!)
Some of them manage to re-establish themselves but the people who announce that they are Jesus Christ tend to be pretty far gone. I like to help them when I can but my experience in Reddit's underground showed me that the prospects are limited.
They do have this power, though, of utter sincerity. The power to state the obvious.
