I think they really do hate Marsey. Only an idiot couldn't see the advantages of having cartoon meme cats to engage mouth-breathers--it's why children and morons can enjoy "The Simpsons."

It's kind of a symbol of their utter lack of innovation (I'd say the last important design shit was probably done in 2012, by that competent Asian fella?)
