Obesity is communicable. The more obese people around you the more likely you are to be obese. The best weight loss strategy is dieting and bring around non-fats. If you just diet you later fall into old habits because of those you surround yourself with.

Because we're all former fatties or fatties or associates of such who see how insane this shit is and helped enable us to become fatties from a young age, and see that obesity is already breaking the U.S. healthcare system. Obesity rates are unironically an existential threat to civilization.

@Sir_Slapadicc @voyeur more and more of the population is becoming obese every year. We don't really understand why and we don't really know why most fail to lose weight.

Everybody here just says "eat less lol" but that clearly doesn't work for most and stops us for looking at deeper causes or trying to understand the problem better.

I'm not about to say the state should start enforcing law on food nutritional quality, sugar, etc...also it really is about eating less, if you want to be an athlete or goodlooking more than you want to eat tasty food and beer then it works....for the really fat ones that can't help stuffing their gourd, maybe because of hormones or what ever, then get tummy staples.
