No, I just think that the vitriol with which people are flooding this sub with honestly poor criticism of ddg is kinda pathetic.

There aren’t many halfway decent alternatives to ddg other than google and frick that noise.

Try and get any kind of academic research done on any of these other search engines that people are shilling and they are either google/ddg under the hood, and thusly supporting them ANYWAYS

Anyone doing academic research will have access to an internal search engine which indexes pretty much any major journal if you have the right keywords.

The only thing google is good for is looking for "alternative" sources and :marseytunaktunak:s who lurk weird discussion sites and solve math problems in their basements
