Nothing says small social circle (if a social circle at all) like someone using complex vocabulary in conversations. The vast majority of people in society realized long ago to use basic language and words in conversations because it's the easiest and least douchebag way to communicate. If you causally throw in a rarely used word in a conversation you also come off as a pretentious fart sniffer. This isn't a thing to brag about. It's literally showing low irl socialization.

Using "big words" either instantly makes even the most educated but well adjusted people youre talking to not like you because they think you're testing them or that you're being pretentious (which 99% of the time the people using them are).

Throwing in a $5 word in a casual conversation isn't the same as using it in a very specific (and usually field of work related) discussion about something very specific. It makes basic communication copacetic.

See the fact that you don't realize that they used to call more complex words " $5 words" as in educated and book learned proves my point. It confused you just like using big words in a casual conversation confuses/ instantly makes the person you're talking to dislike you. It's literally social skills 101.

Don’t you have some revolvers to refurbish or something? Or am i thinking of some other random old guy?

No I'm too busy either shitposting on here or talking to about 2 dozen different people irl. I don't refurbish anything. If I need it done I pay people to do it cause I have money cause I have good social skills.
