It's weird because I knew T_Dumbs (reddit knew, not like IRL) back before he transitioned. Back in the /r/braveryjerk days. He was a really solid dude. Nuts but like, in a fun way. Then the transition happened and it all got weird. "Melinda" was not a fun kind of crazy anymore.
I feel like a lot of people who transition might just need a new start. They just want to be someone else, anyone else, and they turn to something that kinda fits that and then it doesn't work out quite how they hoped.

Something downright WEIRD happened with the cult of Contrapoints.
I also think that the "transitioning" gives too many people an excuse for being shitty at life. They were shitty at life, but it was all BECAUSE.... but then too many find out that transitioning doesn't make them stop being shitty at life.

Genuinely insane to hear all this being a former braveryjerker as well. I remember T being a mod for places like CircleBroke2 back when it was still trollish and hadn't gone full woke. I last remember them becoming bizarrely defensive of trans politics before I moved on and stopped caring about these people.

All those dudes were great back in the day. Looking at that modlist is like looking at an old yearbook. And yeah, weird to see it brought up now, but I legit never knew that the
