becomes a slur after some amount of time, r-slurred used to be politically correct now people piss and shit themselves over the term.
All you would need to do is go everyone on reddit and twitter and either use neurodivergent or "Neuro" as a slur, or inform people neurodivergent is offensive.

If you use it in clearly derogatory contexts like "quit acting like such a neurodivergent" they catch on quick and stop using it themselves
