I mean, firefighting is an extremely deadly job. As a woman who works in men's fields we're regularly pushed out of them. Look at why women leave stem. It applies harder in "dangerous " jobs because of patriarchal ideas that we need to be protected from ourselves in addition to the other bull guys put us through.

yeah definitely. when im trapped in a burning building id want a strong independent 5'2" 80lb queen to be the one responsible for carrying my unconscious body to safety, on top of the extremely heavy gear she's already wearing, the only reason youd think she cant be a firefighter is because of patriarchical ideas that women cant take care of themselves
