Wow, reality doesn't reflect Internet echo chambers? How could this happen?

Dear RelationshipAdvice,

I'm incredibly ugly. I get zero dates in real life and no one flirts with me except for other extremely ugly people. Attractives don't give me the time of day. I mean, I like fellow uggos and all, but what's up with that? People online tell me what a catch I am all the time, why does this not translate into getting dates in real life? I thought I'd be beating attractives of with a stick the way the Internet was telling me how hot-to-trot I am!
